The Alboran Sea, wrapped by the mountainous Gibraltar Arc on the Northern, Eastern and Southern sides, is the westernmost portion of the Mediterranean Sea, lying between the Iberian Peninsula and the north of Africa. The Strait of Gibraltar connects the water of the Mediterranean Sea with the Atlantic Ocean. Because the Alboran Sea is a transition zone between ocean and sea, you will find a mix of Mediterranean and Atlantic species from bottlenose dolphins and harbour porpoises to loggerhead sea turtles.

Throughout our navigation, there will be ideal conditions at sea for improving yourself as a sailor. This is due to the presence of tides, strong currents in the region of the Pillars of Hercules and heavy traffic of commercial ships in the Strait.
